Why do people give a rose as a symbol of love?  They only last a few days, and they are only beautiful on the outside.  It's like saying, "My love for you is temporary, and only based on your appearance."  Now potatoes, they last forever!  They never rot, and they even grow inside the sack.  That alone makes a good symbol.  But there still so many ways to enjoy a potato.  You can even make it into a battery.  They may be ugly, but their still awesome.  It's like saying, "I don't care how you look, I still love you."

Happy Valentines Day, and give someone a potato.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Yea, i kno i had a post about the new year (you can check 3 posts back), but this event is a bit different.  First of all, its CHINESE New Year, not NORMAL New Year.  That makes it ten times better.  Second, i don't have off from school, which stinks, because i ask myself, why do get off from holidays such as Yom Kippur, or Martin Luther King, or a whole bunch of other Jewish holidays, but not any asian holidays or what not?  In China, kids get the WHOLE WEEK off.  I think its 9 days, to be more exact.  somethings i just don't understand, or never will.  Third, during CHINESE New Year, we're supposed to get little red envelops with little bundes of moolah ($) in them.  This year, however, i didn't get jack squat.  o well, i guess life can be hard on those that expect too much.  Lastly, i would like to make a comment about the new year.  This year of 2006 is the year of the dog.  People born in the year of the dog embody the characteristics of loyalty, honesty, and confidence. although they are stubbon and eccentric, they portray good leadership qualities.  I, however, am not a Dog, but a Horse, and horses can posses some good qulities too, just to raise your doubts.  Well anyway, this concludes my little thing on the new year.  I hope you all have a great and lovely new year, and may the best of luck and whatever else come to you.  Happy New Year.

A Compelling Conversation I had with my Brother:

brother:  hm... I think I want a drink to eat.

me:  What do you want?  There's juice.

brother:  uh...um...no... juice is disgusting

me:  Soda?

brother:  uh...no... um... er... fine... whatever... uh.... um... you know what, ... uh... no, nevermind, i don't want anything anymore.

Another year has gone by, and as I look back at this year of 2005, I remember the fun memories and good times i have had.  Looking forward to this new year of 2006, I hope for new things as well as old things, and theres only one thing to say:

This is just some random picture i found online, I have no idea what its about.  Anyway, back to the real point of this thing,

So, each new year brings new goals and resolutions.  For me, i have made some new year's resolutions myself.  Some things that i plan on doing are:  preventing  my brother from listening to too much asian music, survive Clarke-holmes, play more video games, find a new backround for this site, and establish world peace.

Comment and share some of your new years resolutions

Happy New Year
